Privacy Policy

Ridekit is an app for cyclists. It keeps your routes ready for riding without signal: offline maps, stops along the way, weather along the ride, and sending courses to your Garmin Edge over Bluetooth. This policy explains what information the app uses, where it goes, and what you can do about it.
The short version: there is no account and no sign-up. Your routes stay on your phone. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking, and we don't sell anything about you.
What stays on your phone
- Your routes and everything made from them: the route files you import, collections, stages, stops, ride plans, downloaded maps and saved forecasts. They are stored only on your device (and in your device backups, if you use them). We never receive them.
- Your location: if you allow it, Ridekit uses your position to show where you are on the route map and how far you've ridden. Your location is used only on your phone. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
- Your Garmin Edge: Ridekit talks to your Edge directly over Bluetooth and remembers which device you paired. This stays on your phone.
What leaves your phone, and why
Some features need an internet service. Each one gets only what that feature needs, and only when you use it.

Like any internet request, these services also see your device's IP address. We don't send your name, email, contacts or photos to any of them. Their privacy policies: Apple, MapTiler, OpenStreetMap Foundation, RevenueCat.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details. RevenueCat helps us check which plan you have, using a random ID that isn't tied to your name or Apple ID. We see only that ID, what was bought and when, and the country of the purchase.
What we don't do
- No account, and we don't collect your name, email address or phone number.
- No analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking across apps and websites.
- We don't sell or share your information for advertising.
Keeping or deleting your information
Everything Ridekit stores is on your phone. Deleting a route removes it (after Recently Deleted empties), and deleting the app removes everything. To have your purchase records removed from RevenueCat, email us at the address below. Apple keeps its own record of your purchases under your Apple ID.
Your rights
Wherever you live, and in particular under the GDPR (EU and UK) and the CCPA (California), you can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We process purchase records to provide what you bought, and route data to provide the features you use. Some services we use are based outside your country, including in the United States.
Children
Ridekit is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll say so in the app.
